Farm Neck Master Plan submitted.
No planned work by Jim Urbina Golf Design has been approved.
This Pete Dye gem opened in 1967 and has been virtually left untouched for its 60 year life. It is a testimonial to the genius of Pete and the foundation for the start of his acknowledgment by his peers in the world of modern golf course architecture.
We will be creating a master plan to document the work that has gone on and approved by Pete Dye himself before his passing. We will also be drawing a conceptual design for additional holes to be built on the eastern end of the Golf Clubs boundary.
The Olympic Club has two distinct golf courses on its property. The Ocean Course and The Lake course which has just been redone by Gil Hanse and team. It opened in the Fall of 2023, to rave reviews. I will concentrate my efforts on the Ocean Course and the par 3, Cliffs Course
The Ocean course designed by William Watson and Sam Whiting will be brought back to life. The routing has changed and no longer hangs off the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean but I will recreate the links style golf course with the committees approval and recapture the essence of this William Watson design. In Master Plan process now
